Joel Maczkowiack

Joel is a fully registered Psychologist who works with teenagers (13 and over) and adults. He is a calming and gentle therapist who can help with anxiety, depression, ASD, ADHD, sleep issues, grief and loss, sexual issues, motivation, adjustment issues, anger management, low self-confidence, and addictions. Joel uses cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, and solution-focussed therapy.


Lianni Fulcher

Lianni is a gentle and authentic psychologist who aims to create a warm and comforting environment for her clients. She has years of experience in counselling children, teenagers, adults, and families. She is experienced in treating stress, procrastination, anxiety disorders (including worry, OCD, panic attacks, phobias, trauma and psychological injury), sleep disturbance, self-esteem issues, and mood disorders (such as depression and bipolar). Lianni creates a safe relationship to explore your individual strengths and challenges.


Janet O’Donnell

Janet is a generalist psychologist who has been practising for over 20 years. She practices clinical, counselling and health psychology. Janet has a warm and friendly personality and in her straightforward manner, helps clients to thrive and achieve fulfilling lives. Janet treats issues such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), OCD, ASD, personality disorders, and anger management. Janet also provides grief and loss counselling. She is experienced with chronic pain and disease management, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation.


Robin Fraser

Robin is a very experienced psychologist who works with adolescents, couples and adults. He is open-hearted and passionate about his work. He helps people struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression, chronic stress, trauma, anger, substance use and addiction, disordered eating, personality disorders, and couples. Robin is trained in Psychodynamic psychotherapy, Dialectical Behaviour therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Imago Couples Therapy, and EMDR (Eye Movement, Desensitisation & Reprocessing).


Nahum Kozak

An experienced, intelligent Psychologist, Nahum (whose name rhymes with ‘Graham’) sees adolescents, adults, and couples. Nahum is very friendly and relatable. He is skilled in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), emotion focussed therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method. Nahum can help with anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, anger management, relationship conflict, ADHD, Aspergers, addiction, sleep problems, and living with chronic health conditions.


Ingrid Schults

Ingrid is an optimistic, sensitive, empathic, and trustworthy psychologist. She sees individuals 16 years and over. Ingrid is also a qualified Life Coach. She has extensive experience using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Schema Mode Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Mindfulness-based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Assertiveness Training, Anger Management, and Trauma-informed Therapy.


Lynne Rodgers

MAppPsych (Counselling) BSc (Hons) GradDip(Psych) BA MAPS

Lynne works with adults, couples and adolescents. She gets excellent results helping people with grief and loss, anxiety, depression and relationships. Before joining NBP, Lynne worked in specialist clinics facilitating substance use groups and in correctional settings assisting people recover from addictions, substance abuse, domestic violence, anger, and complex trauma. Lynne has postgraduate training in a range of evidence-based therapies, including Neuro-Psychotherapy, CBT, ACT, EMDR and Compassion-Focussed Therapy.


Pia Jones

MAppPsy(Health) PostGradDipPsy BHSc DipNut MAPS

Pia is a Health Psychologist who works with anxiety, depression, addiction, substance use, chronic conditions, and disordered eating including bulimia/anorexia. Pia previously worked in community and educational settings, for QLD Health, Wellness Retreats, and in private practice. She is passionate about integrative health care. Pia has a warm and fun personality. She uses CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and the Gottman Method with couples. She can work with your GP to develop a thorough understanding and plan to meet your needs.


Jenny Laing

Jenny has been a registered Psychologist for almost 20 years. Before that Jenny worked as a child health nurse and midwife. Jenny’s positive approach will refresh you and give you courage to move towards the future you want. Jenny’s techniques are flexible, accommodating, and respectful of your personal needs and comfort. She particularly embraces Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, positive psychology and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). She incorporates techniques from various evidence-based approaches rather than relying on a single therapy.


Dr Rachel Hannam

Rachel is the Director of NBP. Due to her small caseload, she is currently unable to accept new clients. Rachel has been a registered psychologist since 2002. She consulted to organisations for years, working with doctors, nurses, teachers, pilots, lawyers, and executives, and is experienced in coaching individuals and groups. She is skilled at helping people cope with stress and trauma, relationship conflict, and personal change. In 2006, Rachel was awarded her PhD on the topic of psychological burnout and resilience. She uses CBT, ACT, Schema therapy, the Gottman Method, DBT and nonviolent communication (NVC) methods.
