Anne-Marie is a registered psychologist who is passionate about working with and helping adults and adolescents as they navigate various life stages and challenges. She has had previous experience working with these groups as a peer mentor, pastoral carer, and tertiary-level educator. Anne-Marie is also an advocate for workplace wellbeing and completed her Master’s dissertation on employee stress management and recovery strategies.

Anne-Marie can help individuals aged 10 years and over with anxiety, depression, work or study related stress & burnout, career issues, adjustment difficulties, low motivation, low self-esteem, and grief and loss. Anne-Marie also sees couples and is trained in the renowned Gottman Method of relationship therapy*. She also provides coaching for those wishing to find clarity in their future work or life goals, and for those looking to change or further their careers.

Anne-Marie is a compassionate psychologist who takes the time to listen and understand each individual’s unique situation, challenges and goals and tailors her therapeutic approach to meet each individual’s unique needs. To do this, Anne-Marie draws from various evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), the Gottman Method, and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT).

In her free time, Anne-Marie enjoys jogging and bushwalking, attending Broadway shows at the performing arts theatre, being creative and crafty with her painting, digital art and clay sculpting hobbies, and playing video games and board games with her friends and family.

*Note that relationship therapy is not covered under Medicare.
