Keri is a Child and Family Social Worker and Autism specialist with over 15 years experience working in a variety of clinical and human service roles.
She has worked with children six years and over with academic and behavioural difficulties, including clients diagnosed with ADD/ADHD and ASD, and issues such as bullying, body positivity, family and peer relationships, suicidal ideation, and self-harm. She has also worked extensively with families experiencing domestic violence (DV), both as a counsellor and a Program Developer and Evaluator.
Keri’s practice is grounded in best practice therapy modalities. She is experienced working with clients through a variety of therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
Her approach with clients is trauma-informed and strengths-focused, working with clients to identify practical strategies and solutions for their unique circumstances.
Keri has a switched-on, bubbly and warm personality that is well-suited to supporting young people and families.
Keri is passionate about social and environmental justice. In her free time, she engages in community volunteer work and activism. She enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors and in nature with her beloved dog.
