As an experienced Psychologist, Lee works alongside his clients to explore and make sense of their experience and unique circumstances in a safe and caring environment. Within this therapeutic relationship, Lee facilitates the development of new and healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges for lasting effects.
Lee uses a psychodynamic approach to his work with adults, integrating other therapies including CBT, Family Systems Therapy and Personality Psychology. He works with his clients to develop self-awareness and a deep understanding of how their thoughts and feelings influence behaviours and choices. He builds on this with his clients to help them develop more adaptive and fulfilling ways of addressing life challenges.
Lee works with people experiencing, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, family related problems, developmental trauma, relationship difficulties, relational and shock trauma, grief and loss and adult ADHD.
Lee also has experience in organisational settings, including organisational mental health promotion, professional sustainability, workplace and performance coaching, organisational change and development, stress management and work-life balance.
Lee’s Masters research focused on human decision-making within the context of climate change awareness and behaviour change. When not at work, Lee enjoys spending time with his family and out in nature, especially if that involves surfing!
