Alana is a warm open-minded Psychologist who embraces a person-centred therapeutic approach based on trust and respect. She supports adults experiencing trauma, anxiety and stress, depression, relationship struggles, grief and loss, career changes and other challenging life transitions. Alana has specific experience working with the veteran community, people from different cultural backgrounds and people with varying levels of abilities and/or disabilities.

Alana empowers people to live a meaningful and fulfilling life that aligns with their personal goals and values, integrating mind and body connection to promote health and wellbeing. Alana tailors her therapeutic approach to each individual, drawing from a range of trauma-informed and evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Emotion-focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, Motivational Interviewing, The Gottman Method and Positive Psychology.

In her spare time, Alana enjoys travelling and staying active through hiking, camping, swimming, riding and just about anything outdoors. While she believes in living life to the fullest and embracing as many new experiences as possible, Alana also appreciates the value of slowing down and enjoying the small things in life, like a good cup of coffee, an indulgent read, sleeping in and spending time in nature.
