Ann has been a registered psychologist since 2002. Ann worked for many years supporting organisations, groups and individuals in all works of life navigate their way through change, conflict and the day-to-day challenges that work-life and home-life can bring. Ann can help individuals, including older adults, cope with anxiety, depression, stress, sleep, workplace bullying, career challenges, work-life balance, motivation, and personal change.
Ann believes in the strength and resilience that is inherent in people and counsels them compassionately to bring this to the fore. Recognising the uniqueness of individuals, she utilises a person-centred approach to identify the right therapy for each individual. Ann particularly embraces Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to find the best fit for individuals.
Ann sees it as a privilege to support individuals to build the necessary self-awareness and life skills to survive in a complex world and become self-reliant and more resilient.
Consulting, coaching and mentoring people across multiple industries, including specialised professionals, tradespeople, and front-line staff has provided Ann with insight to the wellbeing and vulnerabilities that human beings experience, no matter their chosen career, level of responsibilities, family or personal challenges.
Prior to becoming a psychologist Ann worked in management in the banking sector and for small/medium business supporting them to computerise. She loves to spend time with her partner and family, her friends and her beloved dogs.
