Mos is an experienced Psychologist who sees the good in every person, believes everyone deserves to live a life that is meaningful and fulfilling. With his warm personality and gentle approach, Mos will take the time to listen to you, work with you to determine workable solutions that will assist you to reach your goals.
Mos works with teens and adults from various cultural backgrounds who are in need of help with depression, anxiety, complex trauma (cPTSD) and PTSD, grief and loss, shame and guilt, adjustment difficulties, work-life balance and low self-esteem.
Mos will be empathic about the challenges your life presents, with your sense of safety in therapy paramount. He uses a range of evidence-based treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy and adapts his approach to reflect the needs of his clients.
Mos is comfortable to use the Fijian language in therapy. Mos is short for Mosese, Fijian for Moses. After arriving in Australia, he was soon called Mos by his Aussie mates, pronounced like “moss”. If you would like to have a go at pronouncing his surname, here’s a hint – the “c” is pronounced “th”.
In addition to cooking authentic Fijian dishes, Mos loves going on road trips, the beach, camping and trekking – soaking in nature and all it has to offer.
