Gen is a client-centred, experienced and empathic Psychologist who works with people over 15 years of age who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, grief and loss, relationship issues, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and other personality vulnerabilities.
She has a friendly nature and works with an open, curious mind in collaboration with clients to assist them make changes and improve their quality of life.
Gen has extensive experience in not-for-profit, community, and hospital settings. She is trauma informed and uses Motivational Interviewing (MI) Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy, tailoring her approach to each client.
Gen was born in London but has lived for many years in Australia with her husband and children. Gen has a love and passion for her Jamaican heritage and cannot be separated from her Spotify music playlists.
