Connor is an empathetic, compassionate and validating Psychologist who supports people aged 12 and over through life’s challenges and transitions. He has experience supporting people through anxiety, depression, trauma, gender and sexuality issues, domestic violence, Borderline Personality Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, addictions, suicidality, and grief and loss.
Connor adopts a free-flowing, non-threatening therapeutic approach that tailors treatment for each client’s needs and goals, meeting them where they are at in their journey. He can also adopt a more structured approach by integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, reminiscence therapy, trauma-informed care, exposure therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Connor has worked with diverse populations and enjoys working with neurodivergent people, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and people from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. His first priority is creating an inclusive and safe space for each client to ensure they feel comfortable in sharing their story and feel supported. He has experience of working alongside clients in a non-for-profit organisation, within residential aged-care homes and private practice.
In his free time, Connor enjoys reading, movies, video games, puzzles and hanging out with his partner and their two dachshunds – Winston and Willow.
