Angelica is a compassionate Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with a genuine passion for supporting adults with challenges including trauma, perinatal mental health, Borderline Personality Disorder, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, attachment difficulties, relationship conflict, separation, parenting, grief and loss.
Angelica provides a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment grounded in client-centred, trauma-informed, and strengths-based practice, working collaboratively with clients to help reconnect with their inner strengths and move toward greater clarity, stability, and meaningful direction. She applies evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy among others, tailoring each intervention to the client’s individual needs and therapeutic goals.
Angelica has worked across community mental health, veteran services, disability services, academic settings, employment services, homelessness services, and hospital settings.
Outside of work, Angelica enjoys relaxing in nature, practicing mindfulness meditation, yoga, and creative artistic expression including Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing fractured pottery with gold. This reflects her philosophy that healing and restoration can create renewed strength and purpose throughout life’s adversities.
