Lianni is a gentle and authentic psychologist who aims to create a warm and comforting environment for her clients. She has many years of experience in counselling teenagers, adults, couples, and families.
She is experienced in treating stress, procrastination and perfectionism, anxiety disorders (including excessive worry, OCD, panic attacks, phobias, and psychological injury), sleep disturbance, self-esteem issues, adjustment disorders, and mood disorders (such as depression and bipolar disorder). She places a high value on creating a safe relationship to explore your individual strengths and challenges.
She has experience working with people with PTSD and complex PTSD (cPTSD), Borderline Personality Disorder, drug and alcohol addiction, attachment-disorders, suicidal ideation, and self-harm. Lianni can help with impulsive control disorders, such as substance use and ADHD. She also works with people experiencing grief and bereavement resulting from different types of loss in their lives.
Lianni is a trained Circle of Security (CoS) parenting facilitator and enjoys working with parents and families to become better connected. Lianni understand the impacts of intergenerational trauma and loss of land and culture on wellbeing having recently returned to Brisbane after 10 years working in Mt Isa with her family. Working as a Psychologist in Mt Isa has allowed her to develop skills working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) communities and Lianni brings this understanding into the room with clients and their families as needed.

Lianni completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology in 2018. She is currently completing her Clinical Endorsement Program. She is also a board approved supervisor who provides peer and professional supervision to other psychologists.
Lianni loves spending time with her daughter, her husband and her two big dogs. On the weekends, they enjoy adventures at the beach and bushland areas around Brisbane. At home, she loves gardening, drinking coffee and reading a good book, especially in the rain.
