Bianca is a warm and authentic fully-registered Psychologist. She loves being a Psychologist because she appreciates people, is naturally empathic, and enjoys offering people an experience where they can feel safe and supported. She is motivated to help people lead meaningful lives, find peace, and work towards their goals.
Whether learning strategies to cope with anxiety, finding ways to manage stress, working on communication skills, or making big decisions, Bianca can help people find practical and psychological solutions to their problems. She can help individuals experiencing relationship problems, anxiety, depression, stress, low motivation, study and school-related issues, periods of change and adjustment including career development, and grief and loss.
Bianca uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help her clients live a rich and meaningful life, however also draws on aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), life and social skills training, and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
Bianca has a long history of working with children and teens in various contexts as well as adults in organisational and corporate settings. She sees clients 15 years and older, and particularly loves working with adolescents and young adults to help them enhance their social skills and practice self-acceptance.
Bianca enjoys being outdoors with friends or family in her free time – camping, hiking, swimming, going to the beach, relaxing by the pool, or playing sports – as well as keeping fit at the gym and dancing. She is a curious soul who loves reading and exploring new things and places.
